Craigtoun Country Park

A great-value family day out by St Andrews

The Friends of Craigtoun is a registered charity (SC044249) and relies on ticket sales, grants and donations to maintain Craigtoun Country Park and keep it open as a visitor attraction for the local community.

Craigtoun is a 47 acre country park located just 2 miles from the historic town of St Andrews. The park itself is open 24/7 and it’s a great day out for the whole family. During the season (Easter to October) you can enjoy rides on the Rio Grande miniature railway and the Puffin' Billy road train, as well as Crazy Golf and Park Golf. There are Bouncy Castles and Pedal Cars to keep the little ones entertained and a Go-Kart track suitable for older children and adults. Normally we have Boating too but that won't be available during the 2025 season due to restoration works being carried out at the Dutch Village. This year has, however, seen the introduction of new activity, Touch Tennis. All weather permitting for safety reasons.

The Craigtoun Cafe serves a selection of hot and cold food, cakes and traybakes, teas and coffees and, of course, ice cream. The Cafe is currently open daily from 10 am.
