Our first ever Community Group Networking Event was conducted in the Welfare Rooms at Craigtoun on Thursday 6th November. The invitation to attend was extended to local community groups via e-mail and social media, providing a link for them to register their interst in attending the event.
On the day, we were delighted to welcome 13 representatives from a variety of backgrounds to find out more about what Craigtoun has to offer. Overviews were given by the current Chair, Margaret Lees, Director Fiona Oxley and Michael Henderson, who heads up our ASN hospitality courses.
The event was a move towards the Friends of Craigtoun taking a more active approach to community engagement and we would now like to build on that by inviting anyone involved with a local community group to complete the short survey that you can link to below by Friday 21st November.
The Friends of Craigtoun are currently working with Fife Council and BTS consultants to develop a Business Development Masterplan for Craigtoun Country Park and obtaining feedback from community group organisations is key so we would love to hear your views.
