Helpful to know

Parking

Parking is free of charge but we do have donation boxes available and anything you care to put in them is greatly appreciated. There are disabled spaces available and an overflow. Occasionally things do get really busy, so on very sunny days and event days it’s worth checking our Facebook page before you leave to avoid disappointment.

Toilets

There are 2 public toilet blocks which you will see highlighted on the Park Map. The toilet block on the east side of the park has baby changing and disabled facilities.

First Aid

Should you require assistance while in the park, please make your way to the Ticket Office, if possible, or speak to a member of staff who will arrange for a First Aider to come to you.

Dogs Welcome

Craigtoun is dog-friendly – we only ask that you clean up after them! Dogs should be kept under control at all times and must be on a short lead around the children’s play area. They are not permitted inside the Craigtoun Cafe.

Picnics & BBQs

There are a number of picnic benches located outside the Craigtoun Cafe and beside the Picnic Hut. The main Picnic Area is located between the Crazy Golf and the Adventure Playground and here you will also find barbecue stands which are free to use. You can set up a barbecue elsewhere in the park but please do not place them directly on the grass or on the picnic benches and, when you are done, make sure you leave the used barbecues beside the bins, not inside them, to eliminate any potential fire hazard.

Shelters

Close to the Adventure Playground you will find an open shelter, which was installed in 2019, thanks to a donation from Stay in St Andrews – perfect for those occasional showers that we get in Scotland! Also available to hire, for more info click here.
