Painting returns to Craigtoun Cafe

This large painting, dated 1961 and accredited to Park Superintendent, A.E. Storrie, was found languishing in the yard when the Friends of Craigtoun took over the running of the Amenities in the park in 2013. It was later put on display in the Craigtoun Cafe and it has long been the Friends' intention to give it the tlc it desperately needed and deserved. That plan finally came to fruition this summer when it was lovingly cleaned and restored by local artist, Jaclyn Stuart, and then beautifully framed by another talented local, Jeni Frame. This work of art is now totally transformed and back on display in the Craigtoun Cafe, where it is more eye-catching than ever.
