· Hours: Variable hours to be discussed during the interview, working 5 out of 7 days
· Pay Rate: £14.45 per hour
· Holidays: 28 Days per annum (pro rata)
· Contract: Fixed Term Contract - minimum 12 months

Café Supervisor Job Description
As the Café Supervisor your job will be the day-to-day supervision of the Craigtoun Café, reporting directly to the Park Manager.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee Daily Operations: Supervise the day-to-day running of the café, ensuring excellent customer service and efficiency.
· Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate the café team.
· Food Preparation Support: Carry out basic food preparation and give practical assistance with kitchen duties as needed.
· Rota Management: Produce weekly staff rotas in line with the Park Manager's guidelines.
· Cash Management: Working within a budget and ensuring accurate daily cash handling.
· Stock Management: Place orders to maintain appropriate stock levels and minimise wastage.
· Staff Training: Train and mentor staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
· Collaboration: Work alongside management to design and implement promotional events aimed at enhancing the cafe's performance.
· Delegation: Ensure proactive team task delegation.
· Allergen Awareness and Product Knowledge: Maintain a high standard of product knowledge and allergen awareness.
· Health & Safety: Maintain a high standard of Food and Health & Safety practices.
· Product Development: Work with the park management team to develop the café's product offering in line with our operating model and visitor requirements.

Essential requirements
Previous experience supervising a team within the food and beverage industry
Food and Hygiene Certificate to a minimum Level 2
NVQ Level 3 qualification is beneficial although not essential
Health and Safety knowledge
