Our tractor, Puffin’ Billy, will pick you up from the main gate, free of charge and drop you off at its only other stop, just up the hill from the Craigtoun Cafe. From there it is just a short walk downhill to the Ticket Office where you can purchase the rest of the tickets that you need for the day. You can also take a ride on Puffin’ Billy back to the car park at the end of your visit but that time you will need to be in possession of a ticket. The Puffin’ Billy route goes right round the perimeter of the park and, with a Day Wrist Band, you can go round as many times as you like!
We can safely stow a wheel chair at the rear of the tractor with the guard and can provide an aid to ease the step up to the carriage.
Tractor enthusiasts might like to know that the 2 land train carriages are pulled by a Massy Ferguson 135 built in 1976.
