This May, we are bringing an entirely new event to Craigtoun. Art in the Park is set to be a celebration of art and creativity featuring a variety of workshops for both adults and children, culminating in a 2-day event with stalls and exhibits that will be free for the public to attend.
Children's Art Competition: Sat 2nd, Sun 3rd, Mon 4th & Thu 7th May
The gazebo adjacent to the Ticket Office will be the focal point for our Children's Art Competition between 10 am and 4 pm. The entrance fee is £1.00 per child and we will have plenty of materials in the gazebo so children can work on their masterpieces in the park or do them at home, as long as they are handed in by close of play on Thursday 7th May. All pieces will then be displayed in one of the Party Tents over the Finale Weekend and judged in 3 age categories: 4 - 7 years / 8 - 12 years / 12 yrs + . There are prizes to be won!
The theme of the competition is: My Favourite Thing At Craigtoun so the options are endless: one of our seasonal attractions, something pretty in one of the gardens, an ice-cream, a duck or even the person with whom they like coming to the park!
