The rental period is one calendar month.
The Artist agrees to pay £35 for the rental period. Payment is made at time of booking.
The Artist is responsible for delivery and collection of all artwork at an agreed time.
The café requires all artwork to be “safe for work,” suitable to be viewed by minors. Artwork should have string or suitable hooks attached for hanging with picture hooks upon delivery. The Artist is responsible for labelling and pricing their work. A short biography, provided by the Artist, will be displayed alongside their artwork. This may also be used for promoting the artist on Friends of Craigtoun Park social media.
The café staff will take payment for any artwork sold. Zero percent commission will be charged on sales. At the end of the rental period the artist will be advised of all sales and asked to raise an invoice for the sales amount. This invoice should be emailed to: enquiries@friendsofcraigtoun.org.uk Payment of any monies due will be issued within seven working days.
Whilst every care will be taken with artwork, the café is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to the artwork. Insurance of the artwork is the responsibility of the Artist.
Either party may terminate this agreement by providing fourteen days' written notice.
